Governance and independence
The Collegium operates as an independent ceremonial society with internal records, editorial stewardship and published public notices. It does not claim affiliation with any academy, university, government agency or prize foundation unless expressly stated by that organization.
Recognition scope
Recognition by the Collegium is honorary and commemorative. References to scientific history are provided for public context and do not state that any named scientist held membership, office, correspondence or recipient status with the Collegium unless a specific source is provided.
ORCID nomination handling
Nomination submissions record an ORCID iD and UTC timestamp for intake and review purposes. The form does not contact ORCID, authenticate an ORCID account or imply endorsement by ORCID.
Non-degree and non-grant limitations
A nomination, notice or ceremonial instrument does not constitute a degree, grant, employment credential, immigration credential, government honor, accredited prize, professional licence or recognised academic qualification.
Privacy and permitted use
Nomination information is handled for Collegium review, recordkeeping and abuse prevention. Recognition materials should not be represented as a basis for employment, funding, admission, immigration benefit, legal advantage or academic credit.
